Frankfurt-based Commerzbank serves two groups: private customers and small business owners who need accounts, loans or a brokerage account, and companies it supports with credit, payments and foreign trade. By its own account, it handles around 30 percent of the financing of Germany’s foreign trade. The group also includes comdirect and Poland’s mBank.
You’ll find Commerzbank branches in many German city centres, and many people opened their first brokerage account at comdirect.
